As a Joiner (Multi Skilled) you’ll be the friendly face of One Manchester for the people in our communities.  

 

You’ll carry out the operational duties of an all-round multi-skilled Joiner, including associated works, across the full range of repairs services on all One Manchester`s owned and managed properties and for external clients.  

 

We’re looking for someone to carry out work with an ethos of ‘Right First Time’ always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, ensuring high quality workmanship and high standards of performance.  
 

You’ll be dealing with customers face-to-face, so you’ll need to have a great level of customer service and a positive and proactive approach to your work. You’ll need to be self-sufficient and able to work independently.  

 

What we’re looking for:  

  • To have served and completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or appropriate NVQ L3 standard.  

  • To currently hold or be willing to work towards a fire safety qualification for example BMTrada or Firas accreditation 

  • Evidence of key competencies specifically in Joinery (core trade) and supporting skills relating to plumbing, plastering, and aqua panelling.  

  • Working knowledge of legislation relating to H&S and CDM.  

  • Experience of working within a customer facing environment offering excellent customer service.  

  • The ability to work carefully, methodically and safely with good planning and organisational skills.   

  • Hold a Full UK driving licence (manual).
